Vieux de l ocean
Aged mainly in ex american bourbon oak casks (nas)
Watered down with seawater from the caribbean sea.
Nose: light brine, sea, damp oak, heat, pepper
Palate: Brine, some seawater, seaweed, damp oak, pepper and some tannic aromas, minerality, lot of back palate complexity, also dried fruit, nice grassiness in the end and also some corn. Quite hot and peppery when drank undiluted, overall quite dry rum.
Great vieux, the seawater aromas come together in a balanced way with the rum.
Quite oaky for nas rum and also well made.
Recommended to aged agricole fans.
