Black Cat Superior

Color is nice, the smell is all ok.. A hint of alcohol though.. Taste likes rum.. Nothing more and nothing less. No complexity at all.. The finish was a disappointment for me.. A great choice for drinks..

Drank these with coke as always. A sweetened rum, it smells and tastes a bit like chewing gum or pineapple..? :$ i don't like that. Strange aftertaste lingers in the throat for a long time. OK it's not a sharp rum, but for me still not a succes rum.

not a very well known white rum and nothing like the bacardi/morgan/havana bro's and sisters.
it's a sweetened white rum, great mixer with coke (usually get this flavor with sweetened dark rums). it's super cheap but i have seen the bottle as a "special import" in liquor shops for big $, don't fall for it, for that money get the real deal. if you ever visit surinam, get a whole case :)

Black Cat Superior Rum is een dubbel gedistilleerde witte rum uit Suriname. Zijn kenmerkende zachte smaak en sublieme karakter hebben deze rum al meerdere prijzen en internationale bekendheid gebracht. Black Cat Rum wordt met ijs gedronken, maar is ook zeer geschikt in combinatie met cola of vruchtensap. Verder is deze rum een ideale basis voor diverse cocktails.

I wanted to love it. But didn't. What more is there to say?
