Saint Lucia | Aged | 40% ABV
Admiral Rodney Extra Old rum is produced in St. Lucia using a continuous still, and then aged in American oak casks for an average of 12 years.
The rum is named after British Naval Officer Admiral George Rodney, who in 1782 as the Governor of St. Lucia rebuffed the Spanish fleet in the "Battle of the Saints".

Beautiful color, nice oily, very taste and smooth. Hints of vanilla caramel. Perfect Rum for sipping.
One of my favorites rum. I prefer drink it straight.
best rum i have ever had. recommending it without reservations
This bottle carries a range of aromas and tastes that just evoke Christmas. Mixed fruits with a warming hint of oak & caramel. So, so smooth and a sip fills the mouth with brilliant sensations that last. A very pleasing dark amber colour that just invites you to enjoy this first class rum
Love this rum it's amazing when sipped and on the rocks it's worth every penny and I dared to try a bit with cola and its still amazing but I will only use it on the rocks to make my drink last longer as its so good. Will buy again and again
cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool rum!
Very smooth rum, but does the smooth thing without going all bland on you. Lots of subtle flavors, highly recommended. On the basis of its taste, it would be a 9.5, but what makes it a ten is that it comes in the coolest packaging in the rum world. It comes in an excellent box with a lot of historical info, and the bottle itself is so nice (particularly the cork), that it makes for a real showpiece on your mantle. Definitely one to get if you're traveling through the Caribbean.
I've been drinking rum for over 30 years and can honestly rate the old admiral the best. Not too sweet and nicely rounded bourbon barrel finish. Finding it in the U.S.,well, you would have a better chance meeting Santa Clause. Definitely worth the shipping price from the U.K.
My wife brought it back from St lucia and i love the it problem is that I can't find it in the states.......

Notes of banana and a little tropical fruit.
"There is an alcohol burn. Banana and a little black grape, hints of vanilla contribute to the overall smoothness of the rum. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
