Nice aromatic white rum aged for 3 years. Pleasant mixer for my wife’s cocktails. Tried it after making a pina colada and it piqued my interest for a glass but not a second. Wife loved it!

I had no expectations at all when I bought this other than wanting to try something new so it was with a completely open mind that I opened the smart looking Matt black screw cap and had a sniff….
White chocolate? Chico lollies? Vanilla essence and Cocoa powder! Maybe drinking chocolate. You get the idea. Not what you expect from something you might pick up instead of Bacardi. There is a bit of fresh fruit salad in there but predominantly sweet confectionery.
It smells yummy so let’s take a sip!

Mmmm…. It is definitely sweet and more chocolates but there is something else that keeps me sipping. Ginger? Cloves? Maybe baking spice huh? It’s tasty and has a nice mouthfeel. Not thick so much as satisfying and as it leaves my mouth and heads for my liver the sweets linger but not for too long and it’s not cloying. Just really nice.
I wasn’t sure how it would go in sour and citrusy drinks but it makes a great daiquiri and sits well with ginger beer. I imaging that a Cuba libre made with this would be like Vanilla Coke!

Really really good.
