Bought some Montebello Blanc samples from Rhum Attitude.
One of them was “The Ovation” which is a limited premium Agricole Blanc made of yellow cane from R 570. It’s slowly reduced to its ABV 50%.
The aromas is powerful, fruity, floral, peppery and fresh.
On the palate and during the quite long finish the aromas comes back but it’s also dry and I recognize lime, pineapple and mango.
Overall a powerful and rather dry rum that’s well balanced with a certain thickness (oily) in the mouth.
