Had it a while ago and unfortunately it’s one of the weakest agricoles I have tasted. Strong alcohol, despite being 42%. No remarkable notes.

Bought a bottle of J. Bally Vieux with high expectations, but ended up with cheap whisky like flavors. Bottle and label design look nice. Golden color. Massive amount of oak masked with very dry Rhum Agricole grassy flavors to the nose and palate. Strong burn at the end. Not my cup of tea.
