I just love this rhum.
I (unusually for me) drink it with coke and a squeeze of lime, so whilst not quite a sipping rhum it definitely makes the most interesting and refreshing Cuba Libre.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Aromas of saw dust, grapefruit and citron succade, really pleasant nose altogether. Slightly viscous mouthfeel, well integrated alcohol without any burn. Notes of green plantains, cane juice, peach skins, slightly unripe mango, papaya. There is just a touch metallic bitterness and a short aftertaste that stops the final leap to the top shelf. Really good and well priced. I’d say a 7, based solely on flavour.
