Privateer Silver Reserve rum, an evaporated cane juice- and real boiled brown sugar-based rum that is double-distilled like the others, but with more plates in the hybrid still for higher purity. It’s then proofed down to 100 proof and rested for two months in stainless steel tanks before it’s bottled unfiltered at 80 proof with no added sweeteners, colors, or flavors.

I dont get to say "quality white rum" too often. But this one really is. Great stuff Perfect mixer. One of the 2 or 3 best white rums out there. Decent by itself but outstanding in a cocktail. Smooth, plenty of bite and a great bannana finish. The highest mark I give white rum is 7 and this pegs that with ease. Great product from a great distillery.
Makes a damn good daiquiri.
Notes of banana, clove, and sea salt.
Have had both the styles of this offered both before and after the molasses change. They do such a good job at Privateer that it's hard to imagine them not putting out a phenomenal product.
Amazing stuff, especially coming from Bacardi Silver. Excellent flavor that's just a little more advanced than you would expect in a white rum. Absolutely perfect for daiquiris and mojitos -- I probably won't be switching anytime soon.
This is s great mixer. It's perfect if you're making cocktails that traditionally use column still white rum, but want more flavor and aren't afraid to break from the traditional profile of the cocktail.
Floral on the nose. Clean and crisp. Delicate on the palate. Doesn’t linger. Tried it later with cola. Went right down the hatch. Note: due to a change in sugar supply this has been replaced by their “New England “ molasses based rum.
I know a lot of people love this one but I found it smooth but bland.
Sipping this reminded me more of whiskey than rum. It mixes well, but even when it's given several minutes to mellow it's pretty harsh by itself.
I've tried several brands..this is hands down the smoothest I've had the pleasure of drinking..nice banana flavor captures you and slides down no afterburner. A great sipping rum

Top quality stuff from Mass... 8 out of 10
Smooth, perfect in a cocktail and doable on it's own. Bananas foster on the nose and another winner. Looking forward to checking out their distillery sometime.
