Rum pochází z destilerie Clarendon (MMW 290 - 300 g/hlpa esterů) a zrál 16 let na Jamajce v 200l sudech po bourbonu a 1 rok ve Francii v 350l sudech po koňaku Ferrand.
Vyrobeno bylo 29 sudů (13 000 lahví).
Na etiketě je vyobrazen kolibřík červenozobý (Trochilus polytmus) - symbol Jamajky.

Aroma: Hutné, ale neagresivní - zralé tropické ovoce (pomeranče, ananas), kyselé ovoce (červený rybíz), květiny. Vše lehce podbarveno naftovým hávem.
Chuť: Hutná a plná - med, ovoce, petrolejovitost.
Dozvuk: Lehký odér nafty a dehtu se mísí s trpkou ovocností. Dlouhý a moc dobrý.

Celá lahev
Z celé "ptačí série" společně s Trinidadem druhý nejlepší rum. Krásně jemný a voňavý Clarendon. Ve srovnání s "nástupcem" Jamaica MSP (vodní série 2022) je kolibřík drtivý vítěz.

Flavor: yikes! Tastes like you've rolled down a long hill, landed in a mud puddle with a mouth full of grass and want to do it all over again

This is a very specific rum that I suspect I will remember.

A great Jamaican rum, very funky and very elegant.

Great Plantation vintage without dosage. Nice dry balance between wood, funk, esters and spice.

Opäť krásna fľaša a krabica. Jamajské rumy mi veľmi nejdú, ale toto je taká umiernenejšia Jamajka. Vo vôni cítiť estery, prezreté ovocie a jemne niečo technické. V chuti sa pridáva aj dub a trochu dymu. Najprv chuti dosť sladko no postupne prechádza až do suchého finišu.

The sweetness mixed with an oak flavor that isn't overpowered makes this my top sipping rum for now. Very smooth. The Ferrand cask finish coupled with the 16 year bourbon cask age does wonders.

Very good, but not great. I compared it next to Four Square 2004, 59%, Four Square is the winner. Nice flavors, lots of variety, just bit too much of an alcohol overtone, even in the tiniest of sips.

Wonderful nose, with some Jamaican funk. Drier than you might expect, due to no added sugar!! (Yes, a Plantation rum with no added sugar!) It is a delight. Immediately recognizable, tastes like a Clarendon rum. For 49.5% it's very smooth. A drop or two of water, or maybe an ice cube would be nice, but I left it neat.
