Kirk and Sweeney 12-Year

Of the Kirk and Sweeney bottles, this one is my least favorite. It’s not bad, but for the price I’d by something else. The flavors are just lacking compared to others.

This is the rum is smooth and for casual drinking. Taste is clean and traditional.

This is a very nice aged rum, very smooth and easy to drink. Recommend drinking this over some ice.

Got this while on vacation to try. It was so good that I went back and got th 18 year as well.

Just picking this bottle up, people are instantly impressed. It is a great drink on the rocks or for the casuals with some coke (lol). It is a great bottle and has some real heft to it. Def recommend.

Presented simply but beautifully, this rum is eminently mild on the nose, and is equally smooth going down. Very mild alcohol burn, very light sweetness, and a gentle character of charred wood and baking spice on the tail end with a short finish.

I think this one recommends itself very well to high quality mixed drinks, but is not wasted as a sipper. Excellent quality, and at the cash-only discount liquor price point of $28 near me, it's a steal.

I was given this 12 year as a holiday present 4 years ago. CostCo was selling then. A nice surprise. Great flavors. It has a small bite at the end.

An excellent tasting rum that can be sipped on or mixed. Hints of vanilla and toffee. Definitely recommend!

Looks good but fails to deliver. A bit of spice and vanilla but quickly fades to grey...underwhelming.

A step above Zaya but not quite to the level of Zavala 23, this Caramel colored molasses rum is a true contender. Elegant and balanced, I thoroughly enjoy this rum
