Kirk and Sweeney 12-Year

This on of my favorites so far, it's so sweet and smooth with the perfect aftertaste. I love it!

Edit: i still like it, but halfway through i started to get pretty sick of it

The bottle isn't great for a cabinet, but it's contents are awesome.

A really good drop. Hints of vanilla and very smooth.

Maybe the best nose on a Rum I have discovered so far, it smells delicious. A lovely smooth rum with lots of interesting flavours going on in it. .... Vanilla, wood/oak, chocolate and spices. Great value for money.

I love this. I continually mistake it for its older brother, the remarkable 23 year. That’s how good this is. Smooth, sweet without being cloying, very deep flavor.

Aroma:

Dokonale vybalancovaná sladkost medu s rostlinnými podtóny cukrové třtiny, vanilkovými stopami a patrným přídechem dubu a sušeného ovoce

Chuť na patře:

Vstupní chuť je hřejivě (až nektarovitě) sladká, dále rozvíjí plnější charakter stařeného rumu s tóny vanilky a jemným, dlouhým, opravdu skvostným zakončením.

Bought this on the recommendation of a rum friend who thinks it's the best of the 12/18/23. I found it a bit light and artificial and prefer the depth of the 23 personally.

A very good go to rum. If you haven’t had it it’s certainly worth trying!

This rum was recommended to us a few years ago at a liquor store up in the Adirondacks. this rum is to blame or to take credit for me and my spouse to become true connoisseurs of liquor......

For the price it is absolutely Head and Shoulders above anything in its class they also have an 18 and 23 year we just got a bottle of the 23-year I haven't tried yet...

If you're looking for a rich robust deep flavorful rum that can be shipped on the rocks or used in mixed drinks particularly apple cider heated makes quite a treat

This is a less sweet rum than I'm used to. Seemed harsher on the palate, than my go to rums, Zaya and Zacapa, but In retrospect I think it's the style. Mixes well.
