sweet with coconut undertones, probably the best spirit from Stock, that is not saying much. Good drink for the party if you not plan to spend to much money. One step higher from Tuzemák drinkers.
Moj favorit v ramci cenovej kategorie, pekna vona a sladkost tak akurat. Silno odporucam na kupu !
My favourite in this price category - nice smell and enough sugar taste. Strongly recommended to buy !
Heffron is likely a rum produced or distilled in Panama. sweet, good for drink but...
Five-year-old rum from Panama, bottled and supplied by the Czech distillery Palírna u Zeleného stromu. The rum is more suitable for mixed drinks than to direct sipping.
Rum is delivered in a classic chubby bottle (0,5 l)with a screw cap. The color is light amber.
Aroma and taste: Sweet with tones of vanilla, caramel and nuts. It is quite sweet rum with rather flat and artificial taste. Really cheap rum for undemanding sipping or to grog.
Overall rating: 4,5/10
Very drinkable rum, not sweet and have some vanilla undernotes. It's little bit stronger than other czech rums. I liked Republica more than this but not bad.
For a Czech brand, quite okay rum. It is not bad just straight on ice, not bad mixed with Coke. For the price relatively okayish pick.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Cheap, kind of good, with lots of oranges

Starting with the looks, the bottle is not particularly appealing. As Mr. Dyatlov would say - "not great, not terrible." The rum itself has a nice golden color.
Moving to the aroma, it is very sweet, with noticeable alcohol burn and the typical notes of vanilla. There are also notes of lyophilized bananas. Surprisingly no woody notes.
Taste-wise, the rum is sweet just like the aroma suggested and the alcohol burn remains as well. Oranges play the main role, followed by vanilla and tiny bits of caramel. On the downside, the rum is buttery and the oranges are way too strong.
The aftertaste does not last too long, the orange is still very pronounced with a slight bitterness.
At first, I didn't mind this rum, but the more I drank it, the more flaws I found. The oranges may appeal to other people while the buttery taste and alcohol burn are just wrong. Still, for the price, it is acceptable, so if you love oranges, why not?
