red wine barrels gave berry taste to this rhum, but compared to other 2 tasted there it was the less good, but ok for me it deserves a 9 !

Aroma: Cukrový sirup, rozkvetlé květiny, vosk, svěží travnatost a nad tím vším příjemná vínovost.
Chuť: Vínově trpká, kořenitá, živější.
Dozvuk: Kyselý červený rybíz a ostružiny, špetka travnatosti a peprnosti. Střední.
Sladkost: 0/3

The HSE Château Marquis de Terme 2006 is an Agricole Rhum from Martinique, which after 11 years in the Bourbon barrel was allowed to store another 10 months in a red wine barrel. The rhum produced in the Column Still was then bottled with 47% alcohol in a 50cl bottle.

The rhum is a feast of the senses in the nose. A distinct note of red grapes, wine, vanilla and wood flow into the nose. In addition, there is a light grassy Agricole note with a little spice. On the palate, the rhum is creamy and equally dry. Red fruit and ripe grapes are captured by an intense wood note. A subtle sweetness mixes with spice and bitter substances. The finish is dry and the French oak from the wine barrel clearly takes over the command here. Distinct bitter substances are paired with light Agricole notes.

An excellent rhum with a great red wine finish, which is very distinctive and fresh. The finish is very present and almost displaces the Agricole a little. The 47% still have a good body and do not stand out. If it weren't for the price, I would clearly recommend the Rhum. Very successful.

Sehr gelungen.
