Rom smagt til whiskymesse 2023 i KIF-hallen i Kolding. Ikke god, underlig syntetisk smag.

Solid smooth taste, little bit sweet, but not like Legendario. Don Papa will never offend anybody.

Lately I've started to enjoy sweeter rums as well but still Don Papa is not something that I particularly enjoy. The taste is just somewhat artificial and too sweet. The main taste note is green apple and it is followed by vanilla and orange just like other Don Papas. There are also notes of black licorice, which makes the rum more interesting. Overall not too complex taste but that makes it more approachable to those that are new to rum.

Like this one. Its kind of my style, could be more bold.

Great choice if you are new in rum world! Sweet and drinkable...

Farven er fin mørk.
Duften er meget markant.
Smagen med en god fylde og sødme.
Eftersmagen hænger fint kraftigt.
Smagning Andrup Vin.

lekkere rum iets aan de zoete kant met duidelijk de vanillesmaak door de rijping in eiken vaten.
Toch blij dat hij in mijn collectie zit.

Dárek k Vánocům. Sladší, dobrý. Druhy v kabinetu z Don Papa.

Was surprised it was 40%abv super candyish and smooth but nothing like a rum, tastes like the soda cap candy
