Since I’m more into the sweeter kind of rums, Equiano didn’t caught my attention too much. But I’ve talked to a lot of other rum drinkers that, just like me, had a thing for high sugar contented rums, but later in life got more and more into non so sweet brands. It would not be fair if I’d say it’s a bad rum, it’s definitely not. Just (not right now anyway) my kinda rum.

Tastes to me like a smoother, slightly sweeter Doorly's XO.
Well rounded, bit of a tingle on the tongue, some dark brown sugar..
Perhaps a bit simple, but easy drinking.
I can taste the cask influence, particularly on the finish. A mild bourbon note, though it still tastes very much of rum.
I hear conflicting reports as to whether the Mauritius component is agricole or not. Either way, I can't taste it if there is

Tried this on a whim. Great initial attack and a smooth after taste. Would get this again. But it’s a premium.

Příjemná vůně pomerančů i chuť pomerančů a dubového dřeva. V delším v závěru cítím na jazyk příjemnou chuť tropického ovoce.

Great combination of some Agricole and bajan rum. Would be great as the base of a Mai Tai. Delicious blend

Super rum. Zaujímavý blend. Sedela mi tá ostrosť, pomaranč mi vôbec nevadil. Určite si kúpim fľašku
Beautiful amber color and nice heavy bottle. The initial smell is sweet with spice and has a small amount of burn in the nose. The mouth feel is delicate and light with the flavors of raisin and caramel with orange citrus undertones. A bit of spice on the finish which dissipates quickly. Great sipping rum and one to have on the shelf!
Vanilla, light toffee and some gently oak. .
"A really nice balance between the sweet citrus notes and the spicy oak notes."

This rum cant be bad. Elegant taste with citruses. Bitter taste connected with slight sweetness. Wooden ending
