After trying so many rums they all start tasting similar. This one had something different thatโ€™s hard to put your finger on. It has a pleasant slightly coconut finish, not crap frat boy coconut. Itโ€™s well priced. I would definitely buy it again.

OK, just did a taste test with their XO. I'm buying 2 bottles of this instead of 1 bottle of the XO for the same price. 2 for 1 is a great deal! In my opinion just the right amount of added sugar so that's a plus. Price point on target with similar brands. Although it's true they produce better rums for 3 or 4x the price this one has a spot on my bar. OK.... for you guys who need $100 bottles don't stock it but for us pirates this works! 12/23 update. Looks like the well is drying up but, I've found TW keeps this in stock. .Big plus for me.This is one to keep on the shelf and remember! ๐Ÿ˜

Its Plantations newest Product.

Fruity, little Fiji Rum. Nothing too complex, but more on the tropical fruity side of things.
Im liking that they put the Sugar-Added right on the front of the Bottle. (16g/l if you are wondering).

For 30โ‚ฌ a decent bottle.

In the nose itโ€™s quite sharp, dominated by citrus, medicine and grapefruit flavors, accompanied by some vanilla. This flavor profile does also dominate the palate and rather short finish. If you want to have a low price entry to Fiji rums this might be a good start. Real grade is 6.6

This makes for an nice aged rum when whipping up daiquiris or tiki. Itโ€™s lands quite floral with some mango-y tang. Nice!

This was my first Plantation bottle, and it was a doozy. At the outset, it was my favorite sipper, but over time spent drinking offerings from Doorly's, El Dorado, and other Plantation, I came to realize it's a little bit thin and perhaps one dimensional.

However, that dimension is one I like. This has a sharp flavor and a pungency in the glass that's a slap in the face (in a good way). A little sharp, tropical fruit, but without too much sugar, and the cognac barrel tang make this a drink that is pretty unique in my limited exposure.

Lekkere rum, zoet in de neus en lekker zacht in de mond. Goede prijs/kwaliteit!

Slightly sweet flavors of caramel and figs. Decent sipper or mixer.
