After smelling it and the first drip I resarch how many %% it has. It's better when you leave it for a moment giving it some air or mix it with a bit of water. Quite pleasant but agressive in it's teaste. I think burbon barells made it more spicy for the thounge. Still quite good to change usuall flavours.
Aroma: caramel, I do not know if I am right in this case but maybe some chocolate, bananas and some other fruit (for the God I do not know what fruit), this is maybe characteristic for FIJI rums.
Taste: I noticed vanilla, honey and I thinkg plums, unfortunately finish for me was really unpleasant, little bit stronger (not in volume but the taste itself).
Overall: I think this is good rum for some people, I am not one of them. I will have to try this rum again in the future and maybe I will have different opinion.
Trรจs bon rhum, pour un old fashioned, encore une bonne dรฉcouverte de chez plantation.
My first rum from Fiji and i like it. Even with the dosage of 16g, its not sweet, it's rather complex. Aromas are great some fruit, honey and cacao. Flavours of exotic fruits. Will buy again.
Bought this rum for round 23 Euro and I didn't have great expectations. But I was really positively surprised.
Nose : caramel, banana, pear. Mmmhhh, yummy
Palate : caramel with a little honey or honey with a little caramel. Peach, raisins, far away a little pinapple. Very smooth and creamy. Nothing burns. Great
Finish : Short. Rum raisins and honey. Yummy again, but unfortunately much to short.
Real good value for money ! Perfect for beginner
Ok, so this might seem strange, but since I discovered this rum, although it's not so highly rated, it's a bit gimmicky... it's become my favorite. It appeals to my Polynesian tiki sensibility, and yes, the water might have something to do with it. I just like it, a lot, and it's not too expensive.
Nice color, good taste, fresh fruit and nice finish, good drinking for night. 6/10
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Tasted on 4/6/22 at Laka Lono and I am super excited to discover these notes the day before Easter 2023.
Quoting from my passport,
This rum is so fragrant! This is delicious and would be perfect for sipping on Easter, thanks to the on-theme flavors (caramel, coconut, etc)
Edit, revisiting this rum at Mitch w Amaro during Lei Away in North KC September 1 2023
Appearance: golden
Aroma: hmmm gluelike, this smells like a strong epoxy ๐
Flavor: grass, funk, a grunge mermaid ๐งโโ๏ธ could show up at any moment โค๏ธ Something I find interesting about this rum is that tail end of each sip turns sweet. Like a lil rainbow of hope ๐
I'm going to keep the 10/10 rating
