Mount Gay XO Triple Cask

Almost a spicy, grainy bourbon like nose. Rich caramel, vanilla, and oak. Comes on and finishes strong. Great on the rocks or with a couple dashes of bitters. Unapologetic and enjoyable.

Really good sipper. It’s an excellent blended rum.

I was looking for the Mount Gay Barbados 8 years and found instead this fellow. Warm, smooth but also a nice level of alcohol.

I would rate 9.5 if I could but as I can't then it's 10. It's very very smooth, fruty, sugary and slightly oaky with a hint of banana/vanilla.

Had high hopes for this, but it really not my thing I can see why some would like it. Taste rather woody and I love the Black Barrel alot

This is a very good rum, very smooth and easy to drink. It used to be a whole lot cheaper that it should have been making it by far the best value for money, can understand why it went up considerably but so much so it's no longer my first choice

A very enjoyable rum. Could be sipped very easily. Good taste, fairly smooth.

Good concentrated and extractive rum, a bit harsh on the opening, but complex and layered, not the sweet type. Medium complexity, needs to be a bot chilled, great value for the price.

Bought this rum while staying in Barbados. While it is aromatic, I found it burning my throat. Colour is perfect. Might be to the taste of drier rum lovers.
