Fills your mouth with a very warm and full-bodied sensation, the high alcohol content really boosts all the flavours. Quite sweet with some oak and chocolate notes. Very smooth considering the ABV of 57%, but still a bit too strong burn compared to Esclavo XO Cask (similar palate but 65%) to deserve a 10

Destilleret i den dominikanske republik i 2007. Aftappet i DK i august 2019. 57%. Der findes 306 flasker i alt.

Et væld af smage fylder munden, ekstrem lang eftersmag. Fantastisk og virkelig velsmagende rom.

Thanks to Joola69 for sharing this with me as part of a rare rum tasting (he and I are the only ones to have reviewed this as I write this).

Smells and tastes of molasses, leather, spice, tobacco, oak and cacao. A bit hot at 57%, but this enhances the flavors.
