I got to try this as part of the Rum Ratings tasting kit. I somewhat enjoyed their Wild Horse White Rum as compared to other white rums. But to me, this was more raw, and had a bit of a dry burn.
Smells and tastes of whiskey and charred oak. I think it's missing many of the traditional rum flavors that I enjoy. Too plain and a bit too whiskey flavored for me.
Only a slight improvement over their white rum. Probably better as a mixer in a daiquiri.
The nose has a very distinct added sweetness. The flavor is very bland with the same added sweetness. Really nothing to write home about.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Easy nose not as medicinal as Wild Horse white. States aged rum my guess is 5 year maximum. Mildly sweet candied flavors with a distinct burn at the end light golden color. If I was stuck on the ranch and this was the only alcohol I guess I could drink it, luckily thatโs not the case.
