It will fool you its 'lighter looking' than most golds but far more flavor. It's bold but not to much to negate the vanilia, slight spice and the right sweetness to make it enjoyable. One of the best mixers I've had (If I'm going to sip I like the deeper flavors of a dard rum) try this on if you can find it...
First review, still learning vocabulary.
This rum hits the roof of my mouth more than any other I've tried. Exceptionally crisp, only a little sweet on its own.
I feel like others may like those qualities more, but it is not really what I look for.
Mixes much better with fruit juice than with soda or ginger beer.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I like dark rums that I can drink neat. This sample is gold rum that does not have any of the dark rum character that I prefer. It may be OK to mix with but that is not my interest.
