it's an honest white agricole rhum. Taste is more complex and better than the average. Rich in herbs and fruit flavors and relatively smooth (bearing in mind that it's an agricole rhum).
It's perfect for mixers, mojito and ti punch.
It definitively deserve more than 6/10 but 7/10 might probably be too much.

Enjoyed a bottle of Chamarel Light Rhum Agricole while in Tokyo. Nice bottle and label design. Plenty of vegetal, grassy and floral notes to the nose and palate when neat sipped. Strong and dry burn at the end. Rhum Agricole lovers can easily add 2 points to my score.

Ce rhum, dégusté sur place à Maurice, apporte fraîcheur et fruité à vos cocktails. Je lui préfère toutefois le double distillation.

Enjoyed this trim in Mauritius, mainly mixed with cocktails. Brought a bottle back with us and even the wife enjoyed it, who is not a spirit drinker.

Pas fameux 4 out of 10
Premier Chamarel blanc que je goûte. Assez parfumé, le nez est très agréable la canne fraîche laisse place à de douces effluves végétales. En bouche je ne l ai pas trouvé très marquant vraiment sans plus. Certainement meilleur en coktail que sec.
