Initially peppery, light spices, mustard. Alcohol burned at the beginning. Then tiny amounts of citrics. After 5 minutes the development open green citrics, lima and green lemon peal. Candy and cola cubes, buttery.
On the palate, oaky, tawny, tannings. Medium sweet and light salt.
On the finnish a bit bitter, medium long.
After half an hour it soften a lot, it doesn't need any ice or drops of water but with a few of this its opened up on the dried fruit, nuts and little of tropical fruits.
Slightly more aniseed than I'd prefer but a nice standard dark Rum. Used as a mixer as nowhere near smooth enough for neat.
