Rum merk werd oorspronkelijk gedistilleerd en gerijpt in Guatemala.

In 2008, echter, bewoog de productie van Zaya naar Trinidad en Tobago, waar de Zaya nu Trinidad Distillers Ltd is gevestigd.

Zaya is blijkbaar geproduceerd volgens een geheim recept. Met andere woorden, dit is een mix van verschillende goed gerijpt rum aan om een bepaalde smaakprofiel te bereiken .

Alle Zaya Rum Blend rijpen ten minste 12 jaar in kleine eikenhouten vaten. Zaya Gran Reserva is een weelderige, gedistilleerd uit suikerriet sap rum. Daarna gerijpt in whisky en bourbon vaten.

Aroma: mokka, vanille, rook, mandarijn, en peer.

Smaak: een prachtige, pittige en zoete balans. Tonen van esdoorn, gedroogd fruit, pittige kruiden, nootmuskaat, kaneel en rook.

Dit resulteert in een zeer bevredigend drankje.

I like everything about this rum. Clean and smooth from the first sip to the last. Hands down my favorite. I've done a few blind taste tests with a dozen people and Zaya is always on top.

this rum has a strong vanilla flavor. I drink it with Coke zero and it tastes just like a vanilla Coke with a little bit of spice. One of my favorite rums.

I just can't get enough of this Rum! Smooth, flavorful, great price point, easy to find, perfect with a Cuban! What more can you hope for in a sipping Rum!?

This is the rum that opened my mind to rum beyond a crap rum and coke. This rum is perfect on an ice cube. Truly one of the best liquors available of any kind. Some spice and a touch of sweet.

Good top shelf blended rum. Definitely taste this first neat.

Super rum ähnelt dem angustura 1824 nur milder. Geruch: etwas rauch, manderinen, birne und Zimt.
Schmeckt mild und nach Schokolade bissel gewürz

Dark color with a faint aroma of vanilla. It is definitely enjoyable as a sipping rum. First sips are warm and smooth with an enjoyable faint vanilla finish.

My fave so far. Perfect for sipping......neat or over rocks.
