XM VXO 7-Year

Very nice rum and at the price it is well worth a punt if you are looking for an inexpensive sipping rum.

A sweet smell, light fruity, Sherry, a little bit alcoholic. The taste is rather light, slightly sweet, the finish has a light alcoholic burn.

A decent Demerara aged 7 years that retails for about $20. I used it as a cocktail rum mostly.

The taste is cream silk, milk chocolade, marzipan and nice light smell. It's kind of rum dessert (by taste profile, not by over-sweetnes like Diplomatico and alike)

7,5 sametově jemný, holčičí rum, vanilková chuť. Lehčí rum.

Smell and colour are good, taste is ok, but nothing to right home about. There is not a lot of aftertaste and a fair but of alcoholic burn.

Very strong but with a good taste, leaves a smooth nice flavour. Try it if you like really strong rums, this won't disappoint you.

XM VXO 7y comes from Guyana, same distillery as the El Dorado rum family. XM GOD 7y has a very nice dark rum color, but the smell and taste has too much alcohol into it to make it anything more pleasant than 3. Otherwise better to stick with El Dorado 12 year old rum.

Good rum but not my favourite at all in this category.
