this gold metal local rum is very enjoyable on the rocks.
Took a tour of their distillery while on vacation in Cape Coral. I enjoyed this rum straight up or mixed with ginger ale
Found this gem on a trip to Florida. Great free tour even better Rum. The Spiced was so tasty. It tasted like Florida it had a nice finish with a great citrus end. Perfect Cuba Libre. Spiced even better liked this with 2 cubes and splash of lime, very tasty. What other Silver is this good. Coconut my daughter loved this natural not artificial or too sweet. Looking forward to see what's next.
Love the true Florida taste. Reminds me of Sultry Summers and Tropical fun. Orange, Citrus! Yum
I'm biased with this particular brand. Created in my home town. Great for mixing won a gold medal in Miami last year.
I know it's popular, but I'm not a fan of Sailor Jerry. To me that tastes like a regular gold rum that has some flavors added. Not a truely spiced rum.
Decided to try this next because of its high rating... and I don't get it.
Smells of cinnamon and orange, like you'd expect. Tastes of cinnamon and bitter oranges. And this is dry. Not at all what you'd expect from a spiced rum.
Also, it tastes like brandy, not rum. I assume they aged it in brandy/cognac barrels since that's all I taste.
Tried this straight and a small splash in one cocktail, but it doesn't shine through at all. If you don't like using a sweet spiced rum in your cocktails, I'm not sure this is a great alternative since it doesn't taste like it has a rum base.
Stumbled upon these folks at a booth in a farmers market in Punta Gorda. After a quick tasting of several of their flavors I was an instant fan. Smooth and flavorful. Not as sweet as some other large batch commercial rums.
Good tasting rum, has a hint of orange at the end.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

The silver is great for cocktails especially for mojitos, each new batch is more well rounded than previous. Definitely a label on its way up
