Westerhall Superb Light

This is a budget supermarkets version of a premium spiced rum. It is more affordable, and definitely worth a try.
Did it match up to premium brands? No it didn't.
The purpose I brought this was for a party, ideally for others to mix and out of curiosity.
Did I like it? Personally, no.
However others did enjoy.
Try it. For the price, you may enjoy it.

Decent rum for the price. But I'd 100% spend a few quid more on Bacardi or Captain Morgans

If you want rum but don't want to spend a lot as your either not going to drink it often or want something to just consume easily over a weekend. This Aldi alternative will do the job.

This looks exactly like Captain Morgans but it would never be mistaken for it. Its smell is significantly weaker and its taste is blander and very artificial tasting. Absolutely cannot be consumed neat it will make you gag. Okay as a mixer so long as you are already drunk.

This a good cheaper alternative to the popular brands I take mine with cola zero and find it a pleasant change and more affordable weekend drink .

For the price it's a good standard of cheap room , a mixer at best but a very bland mixer. No depth to it what so ever and can't even comment on taste notes

Great as a mixer, comparable to more expensive brands.

An excellent cheap rum. I always drink it neat. Rich, spicy taste that you have to pay more than x3 to find elsewhere. I must!
