Flawed with a glimmer of hope
Last drink for tonight was a Westerhall Jack Iron 140 proof rum and what a kick it has! Bottle looks unique, label is quite bland. Color is close to water, super light. Not that much burn comes through the nose test but palate does not lie. It truly has 70% alcohol and you can feel every bit of it. Very mild vanilla in the background. Not bad at all for an Overproof Rum.
Nice during the holiday times in rum punch, or with a light chaser, this is not a rum for the faint if heart. Great taste for an over proof.
"With water it is quite sippable although quite one dimensional. ."
