Genesis Rum - First flavored rum
I ordered this rum after seeing some ads for it in Los Angeles. I was looking for a nice fruity, light and smooth rum to drink for the tail end of summer and early fall. This rum hits all those on the dot. I learned that it was made with fresh pineapple and dried lime peels. The flavor comes through very well and makes for an extremely smooth finish - which is my favorite part. I would rate this a 8.3/10, my only gripe is that it was a bit to sweet for me but it goes well on the rocks. As for fruity cocktails, it got a bit sweet. A made a peach negroni though and that was phenomenal. Will buy again for sure!
