The Rum Vault Barbados
Winding down my Barbados Rum vacation I was able to visit the Rum Vault at the Colony Club resort. It's been a fabulous week with a trip to Foursquare and Saint Nicholas Abby. I passed on Mt. Gay and chose the Rum Vault instead. Was able to try a dozen rums that I never tried and many bottles to bring home including the newest Foursquare aptly named 2010.
the Vault has one of the best selections of rum in the Caribbean and West Indies. It's a bit hard to book and seemed too structured until you meet the specialist and then anything goes, with alacart sampling of anything they have.
I went for predominately Bajan rums but also sampled agricoles and one of my favorites the original orange label 15 year Pusser's that's been out of production for years. If your on Island try to book it. Anyone else lucky enough to visit it?
