Where to buy online? I live in US (SW Florida)
The Total Wine & Spirits has deprioritized rum. They converted 2 of the rum sections over to tequila.
so far I've tried uptownspirits.com and wine.com for some Foursquare.
any other recommendations?
I've got a Total Wine very near to me, and they have a decent enough rum aisle, not quite as big as the Tequila (which is sizeable) so no signs of it shrinking yet at least! But they can't carry everything!
Definitely check out all of the mom & pop shops in your area. I've had a few more than surprise me with selections not available at TWM, and some selections actually cheaper than TWM.
Now, I'm not sure of interstate shipping rules, but check out Hi-Time Wine Cellers. They've got decent prices on certain things, and of course you'll find selections that you won't find at TWM. I'm in CA so works for me, and convenient. I'm only recently getting into on-line buying.
You also have Florida Rum Society in your neck of the woods, right? Have not purchased from them, so no idea on details or if prices are decent or not, but worth a look! Let us know what you find!
