Hello all. I have bought a couple bottles of rum from MoM. I was considering a purchase of multiple drams to sample before investing in a whole bottle of the more expensive brands. Those of you who have purchased drams from them, has the quality been comparable to a fresh bottle?

Top-notch in every way. Each dram is sealed in wax and clearly labeled and ingeniously packaged for safe shipping. The quality of the rums appears to be near-perfect.

Agreed, they have been pretty amazing. They pack them straight from fresh opened bottles.

Thanks gents. I have St. Nicholas Abbey 15 and Millonario XO & 15 on the list of drams to sample. Based on your extensive experiences, what would you suggest I sample that are not available in the states?

Bristol classics, rum nation, and Compagnie Des Indes.

AG nailed it. Those 3 producers know how to put magic in a bottle.

No experience with Compagnie Des Indes, but the other 2 are indeed something you should try.
I often order from Master of Malt and am very happy with their services. :)

I have since ordered drams of Rum Nation 21 and Millonario XO (along with the full size bottles!!!). Very nice quality.

You can all thank your good friend RedBlaze. I made a special order with MoM, and they now carry Ron Quorhum 30. Bottle and drams are en route!

I saw that pop up yesterday. I was debating picking up a bottle, or a dram at least.

A.G., I have a future home bar that I am growing my collection for. I began ordering whole bottles and a dram so I can sample and save at the same time. Will reach out to MoM in a couple of weeks and see if they can get their hands on Ron Esclavo XO for me.

Do the drams from MOM come in a bottle labeled by them or a miniture bottle from the Brewer? As I collect allthe empty bottles

Adam, they are labeled by MoM in a small screw top glass bottle sealed with wax. The image they show on their site is exactly how the look in person. I have ordered a few and have been very satisfied with the quality. On one occasion, a dram had leaked during delivery. I notified MoM and sent them a picture. They resent a replacement overnight. Great company.
