Hi,

I've bought a bottle of Quorhum 30-Year and see that rum is a bit cloudy, not entirely clear like my other rums. Is it okay or should I return this bottle back?

Cloudiness happens to non-chill-filtered rums when they are stored in cold conditions. Try shaking the bollte, this should make the rum clear.

How old is it? There is a year on the box or bottle.

Some rums are not filtered, they tend to form flakes. Especially if sugar is added. It's still good.

@vomi1011: I just see bottling year on the bottle which is 2019. The rum itself is 30 years old.

2y in the bottle is not very long. I think mine was from 2017.It definitely didn't go bad, maybe you got the good stuff from the bottom of the barrel. My Zacapas 30 also have a lot of flakes on the bottom, but they are from 2006.

I think your rum should be clear like your other rums. Ther sometimes some "sediments" on the bottle bottom, you see them will by turning around the bottle. It's usually a part of the colour and sugar. After a few hours, the sediments settles and the rum will clear again, if there will not the rum is gone. I had this with a nearly empty bottle of Millonario Aniversario Reserva.
