To vomi1011: I am a little lost when I read HLCF and the likes. I noticed a number of these these 3 and 4 letter initialisms in the discussions on this platform I and feel confused. Apologies for derouting the comment to another topic, but is there some website to learn more?

No problem, it's a Hampden mark. HLCF -> Hampden Light Continental Flavoured -> 500-700 esters in g/hlaa. It describes the ester content. High ester content in rum leads to more fruit and more acid flavors. https://singlecaskrum.com/countries/jamaica/hampden This mark is very good, it's balanced but also fruity.
