Non-reviews hiding among the reviews

I am a new reviewer with a palate "in training", so to say. I would not mind at all if my first ratings were not counted. I can hardly imagine that I will feel confident or be considered relevant before having tasted at least 30 rums or so. The use of a median makes sense to me too. As a beginner, I am also likely to wait before I post ratings. I need time to compare and make my mind. So I can end up posting even 5 ratings at a time. A great discussion.
