Dictador manufactures two premium series of their rum: "the best of" and "two masters". Recently they launched a third series, "Wixarica" in the fancy bottles handmade by Indians (10 different rums, only 25 bottles of each).
These rums come in very limited series and only few ratings are available. They are around 40yo. I generally enjoyed the basic Dictador's rums but I'm not sure what to think about their premium products. Is it a good value for money?

Sounds like it's more art than rum for drinking. We know almost nothing about this 40y old rum.
"The liquids are carefully chosen and mixed by our master blender, as he has chosen the best of the oldest vintages to give you the truest taste of our age-old DICTADOR."
Dictador The Best of 1977 costs around 180€ with 40% abv and is also 40y old.
I would rather buy some Caroni bottlings of Velier.
