Ron Zacapa xx Anos vs Sistema solera

Hey guys, As you probably know the old xx Anos Bottles (23 Anos, Etiquetta Negra, etc.) in the meantime are priced at several hunded euros. Unfortunatly mine are all empty :-) However since the new distributor Diageo has taken over, the new bottles are labeled "Sistema Solera" instead of "Anos". The new bottles have roughly the same price, the old variants had some years ago. Now I don't know if it's just me, but... Wether it is the 23 Centario, Etiquetta Negra or the XO... just all of them just don't seem to appeal to me as the old variants did. Tried the 2014 Limitada Edition and honestly didn't like it at all. Maybe it needs some get used to. This is why I even believe that the ratings for the 23 Anos Variants should be separated from the new sistema solera variants. Unfortunatly currently the ratings are mixed. What are your opinions? Is there any difference noticable between the old variants and the new sistema solera editions? I realize that each cask may be different, but I am not sure if it's just this. Greets
