That's easy! Since the coquito is Puerto Rican eggnog, you should use the most popular Puerto Rican white rum, which is Don Q Cristal. It is also the highest rated Puerto Rican white rum on this site with rums having more than 1 rating. This rum will add no additional flavors nor will it give a hangover. Now if you want to add some tropical flavors, use Plantation Artisanal 3-Star. If you want to add chocolate hints, then use Vizcaya Cristal. If you want Panamanian style white rums, try Cana Brava 3 Year or the more subdued Selvarey White. If you want to get kicked out of the party, use Bacardi Silver or Captain Morgan White. I have covered all bases for you!
