Anyone pair their rum with a cigar? I do. What's your favorite pairing?

DIPLOMATICO RESERVA EXCLUSIVA RUM With Liga Privada No.9 Ron Zacapa 23yr with Ashton maduro Most of the time I drink what I have a taste for and smoke what I'm in the mood as well. My go to rum is Plantation 20yr XO, ron zacapa 23yr or the diplomatico. I would love to hear about your pairings. Thanks!

Favorite pairings so far would be: Ramone Allones Gorditos w/ Havana Club 7. Saint Luis Rey Regios w/ Matusalem 15 ERDM Choix Supreme w/ Plantation XO And anything with Diplo Reserva Exclusiva. :0)

I pretty much stick with Padron Serie 1926 No. 1 and especially No. 9 with any and all my rums I drink. I guess buy now I use them as a "how does the rum taste with the "26" mentality.

I do not smoke anymore but before I compared Monte Christo No 4 with Havana Club 7 The strenght of the rum is just perfect for this cigar. And of corse Do it in Cuba

Havana Libre 15-year old rum with a Cohiba - it's a forbidden fruit for Americans, so they are easily flabbergasted by that choice. On other occasions, Barbancourt 15-year old Rhum Agricole with any mild cigar from the Arturo Fuentes Cigar House in Santo Domingo.
