Hi all, just wondering if anyone on here is attending the above festival ? It's being held in the grounds of Exeter castle on 29th July. There are 2 sessions, 12 till 3pm, and then 4 till 7pm. If anyone is going, be good to meet up and share a few thoughts over a sample or two 🥃 Cheers graham

Well, the Exeter rum festival certainly didn't disappoint, other than it rained all day. A large selection of rums, over 50 were on offer, and I have to admit to sampling most. The only downside to the day was after leaving, I managed to drop a bottle of Neptune 3 yr old, and had to literally stand there and watch it disappear down a drain😡 Why me? For those who have not tried this offering, it's very similar to Plantation 5 yr old, but more fruity, very clean, crisp and as the rep said, " this is how rum should taste". For a rum that's so "young", it was definitely amongst the best on offer. I've now got to try and source another bottle, can't wait till next year. Cheers graham.
