What are your favorite Rum cocktail in which you can still taste the Rum?

Hi all, I love to sip good Rums neat in order to enjoy them in their simplest forms, however I do enjoy having sometimes a nice cocktail where I can really enjoy the Rum Aromas and I am therefore looking for some options for that. What I have tried and enjoyed the most so far are "old fashioned" with just Rum, sugar syrup, Angostura bitter and orange zest. Thanks a lot for your helpful recommendations, as always :)

Hey Olivier, have you tried rum with a dash of Sprite or 7up? I've always found this simple yet refreshing when I want more of a rum cocktail. For me there's not much better than a raspberry mojito, but that's not really a rum-first drink :)

Try a Cuban Style Cocktail (not my name for it) 2 oz rum 1/2 oz Lime juice 1/4 oz Simple Syrup 1 Dash Angostura Shake and strain. Similar to an Old Fashioned but with lime. Rick
