Nice, very smooth with light touch of alcohol for reasonable price. Good tip.

Nice taste, smooth, dark bitter chocolate, little vanilla, not so sweet. Smell is nice, a bit fruity. Like it more than similar (at least for me) Kirk & Sweeney 23

Enjoyable but not memorable... slightly sweet with a touch light body and balanced but without strong character.

Nicoho v nom nieje prehnane a nic v nom nechyba.

A nice box and bottle are fitting for this medium mahogany rum.
On the nose is a good amount of cask with a bit of burnt sugar.
Tasting is good with a lot of oak, caramel and a mild burn.
$45 @ LCBO was a good deal.

I was expecting a more complex taste. It's good for mixing. Not so interesting to drink pure.

Note: I'm a sipper. My opinion is based on sipping characteristics.

There's possibility one might dislike it at first, as it is not newbie friendly. That was my experience the first time, as it was one of my very early bottles and had me unprepared. At 38% vol one thinks the experience should be mild-ish. Rich sweet aromas that go all over the place once you open the bottle contribute to that feeling and it's just the moment you take a sip when you realize this one bites. And it might be quite a shock. Then a couple years later I thought I'd retry it and my experience was entirely different and it was my expectations that let me down back then, rather than its characteristics. So to me now, this is technically on par even with Flor de Caña 12 and the likes.
