Chuť samotná nasládlá a velice jemně nevtíravá. Trošku ovocná s nádechem kakaa. Další adept do mé sbírky. Velice příjemná je i cena u tohoto výtečného rumu.
You only two cube of ice and nothing else. It just perfect.
Some say that this shape of a bottle of rum does not fit, but I like it very much. The Imperial name fits well. The color is rather semi-dark, smells sweet. Sweetness will also show up when tasting, and will also please non-rum enthusiasts. When swallowed, it does not scratch and generally acts very cultivated. Due to its pleasant taste and interesting bottle it is also a good gift. I strongly recommend this rum!
Para mi gusto, este junto al pampero aniversario, son los rones con mejor calidad precio. En este caso estamos ante un ron dorado, recuerda a manzana madura, frutos secos y madera, moderadamente dulce y un final largo , solo o con una piedra de hielo.
This is a great go to rum when you don't want to break the bank. Very smooth. Notes of spices, caramel, tobacco, and vanilla. Difference between this and onyx is onyx is smokier.
"ends with a carrot cake ice cream taste"

The nose is light and gentle.
"It’s quite nicely balanced but just a little bit too nice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Barcelo Imperial and El Pasador de Oro XO.
They are approximately the same price.
After quick introduction of both we had preferred Barcelo.
El Pasador is a bit weird on the nose and does not feel XO enough. Barcelo, indeed, is more solid more man's stuff, classic dominican style.
At the end of the night 75% of Barcelo (score 8) and 20% of EP (score 7) are gone.
Edit: Barcelo plus 1. Rich, strong pleasant, some magic included into 50$
