Barcelo Gran Anejo

Sampled Barcelo Gran Anejo rum and enjoyed its taste albeit too sweet for my liking. Nevertheless this would, in my opinion, be an excellent mixing rum.

Tastes like it smells. A good one to mix with coke. Not to strong and not too sweet

Harsh taste, and an alcohol burn finish, disappointing

Rum koupený ze zvědavosti, neboť na etikete zní Ron Dominicano. Na mě příliš ostrý a tvrdý.

Bottle from Platja d'Aro, Mercadona, 2017, dark brown, caramels, alcoholic, some sharpness unblended, in a mix the taste ia better,is soft, smooth and a bit thin, vanilla, somme nutty flavors, sugary, not that expensive i believe it was €13,-

un fuerte olor a alcohol al abrirla,bueno para mesclar,nada de pos gusto.

Definitely not a sipper. A bit hash for that, but still nice and sweet, good for mixing or on ice. And for that price certainly a good buy.

Not going to same much bout this rum it's smooth and lite but that's just it nothing much of anything a thin bodied drink , ok but won't be going back for more anytime soon

The price is nice, it mixes well and easy to find. What it doesn't offer is complexity of some of its older siblings. Some of the flavors don't work very well together. But you are now able to decipher what aging does to a rum, as some of the flavors are more evident through the being in contact with the barrel for a longer time.
