Good for mixing with other mixers or as a base for cocktails....not much more...
Rum tasting in the Finnish wilderness with my good old friend continued with Takamaka White Rum. Boring bottle and label design. Clear color. Alcohol and plenty of floral notes to the nose and palate when neat sipped. Strong and dry burn at the end. Definitely a mixer rum.
Not as smooth as the Spiced Takamaka, but then again; it’s a white rum. Brings back memories of tropical Seychelles. I drink it mostly mixed, but sometimes neat as well. Depends on the mood and occasion.
I went once to Seychelles: It's heaven on earth! A real Paradise. There is produced the Takamaka Bay. I wouldn't that this rum worthes the price to go there, but it's really a good rum.
If you ever go there bring some bottles back, you won't regret it :)
