A young Foursquare, just 6y old with 40%, let's see.
There is first a bite in the nose, this rum want some time in the glas. I can already smell the oranges with wood. No doubt, it's a Foursquare. The nose is a little bit shy first, you need to stick it deeper in the glas. Typical problem of a young rum, but it's developing in the glas. After that I get a typical Doorlys nose, caramel, oranges, white oak with some alcohol, quite simple.
The taste starts also watery, I get young oak with vanilla, after that slightly caramel with oranges.
Spice in the finish, young oak, vanilla and orange peels. The dilution was too bad.
I think the Doorls 8 is slightly better. Still a natural rum, but too weak for me. Go for Doorlys 12.

I’ve been wondering about this for about a third of a bottle now. It’s good rum, big alcohol but smooth, smoky-brown sugary, quite dry; it’s very nice. I reckon I’d forget it pretty quickly though, maybe that’s why it took so long to rate?
6.5 rum that’s better than its price bracket.
Lightly charred oak and bourbon like spices.
"It’s pretty spicy and quite dry. Pretty oaky. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I've been drinking quite a lot of sweet rums recently so this one came as a real surprise. Smooth but with a bit of burn and a real pleasant after taste. For the price I don't think it'll be beaten!
