je lui trouve un goût tourbé, qui plaira aux amateurs mais pas forcément pour moi

Definitely a complex flavour profile with lots there. Definitely too harsh for sipping and probably better in a mixed drink.

This was my first agricole rum, not quite for sipping alone thou. I guess it is better for mixing and it has an industrial alcohol note that I don’t quite appreciate... hope other agricole get better than this, this have quite traumatized me to sip it alone. Even if the style is floral, it has a sharp and saline note that is characteristic of Martinique style. Affordable. I have to try with a more expensive agricole to really know if the style is not for my palate or this bottle is just ok/ so and so at best.

Nice square bottle with details
Dark shade liquid
Distinctive harsh odor
Punching beginning
Oak warming mid taste
Lenghty after taste, oak

Definitely good for mixing, but a bit boozy and the result of ageing in wood does not produce the results other rhums have achieved. If you had a bottle laying around to be consumed, you would not say no cause it’s a Martiniquan rhum after all but there are other much better agricoles to be had.

Safe rum for the safe drinker. Nothing special. I drunk it in Italy after overeating myself in a fishrestaurant. Does the trick.

It almost has a whiskey type aftertaste.
Not bad for a cheapish rum

Agricole - nak jó, de én nem nagyon szeretem. Valahogy nekem a martinique rumok nem találtak be.

This gold rum from the Martinique Island in the french carribean is very good to do Ti-Punch or mixers aswell as spiced rums. Strong with some oak and fine tobacco notes...

A step up from Bacardi. I think that they are shooting for a sipper, but it greatly misses the mark.
