Für mich als Süssrum-Möger ein leckeres Tröpfchen als Digestif.......schneidet im direkten Vergleich für mich erstaunlicherweise noch besser ab als der Non-plus-ultra Ambre dòr.
This one is more of peach vodka rum, nothing I prefer.
Sweet, sharp citrus, vanilla and some kind of flowery taste. It comes in layers, each hitting your tongue differently. Definitely stands out among other, more anise-tasting, Riise rums but is also pretty aggressive - for some too much.
When initially buying the superior cask from riise, I had this one in mind. Thus, the SC produced some disappointment at first.
Back to this one: it does by no means fall short of the tasting notes. Great complexity and flavor profile. For the fruity Riise rums, this is one of the best. And for 35 Euros quite a steal. It does taste quite different from the ambre d'or non plus ulta, which is lower dimensional but much better balanced.
It’s not rum but it’s made of rum. So if you look at it as a rum I would say it’s too fruity, too much like candy and a fruit liquor.
If you look at it as a rum based spirit it’s a nice drink for a warmer day. It’s light, has nice fruity flavors like apricot, vanilla, honey. Just a nice drink to share with friends who are into sweet wines or liquors and want a rum based drink.
Beautiful smells of apricot as a compote. The taste is strong after alcohol, almost like apricot destillate. Very sweet
Oh, don't know how this can be called a rum. It is more like a liquor. Good taste if you just want something sweet, with a lot of fruity flavor. The aftertaste resembles more like a peach jam. I wouldn't go for the second glass.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is very mild rum. The smell is really fruity and flower full. The taste is simple and sweet. You can feel some wine tastes to. Not really my style. I was considering even 6 but change my mind last moment! 🥴
