Definitely not a straith rum but geest in am old fashioned.

I think for someone who like the Smokey and oaky rums this would be perfect. It’s subtle and good quality. However it’s not for me.

Pot stilled funk that will liven up any cocktail. Can be tough to find.

This rum is great as the base of a tiki cocktail--something complicated and juicy. But it's a bit too much (for me) to be the star of a daiquiri. While I love the funk this rum brings, it lacks in richness--it's dry and can taste a little hollow.

very tasty , i add a little water to make it easier to sip this unique rum. not sweet, almonds jumps out

Kicks you in the mouth with classic jamaican funkiness. Its a bit too strong for me to drink neat. Great for tiki drinks.

Gotta be in a certain type of mood to have it.
Definitely must aerate to get full flavor.
Lots of prunes.

Lots of funk on the nose and palate. Really hot rum, with taste of funk and banana, and a long finish.

Better let this dilute in ice for a while if you plan on drinking straight.
