Decent Rum in Awesome Bottle

I bought this bottle (see attached pics) strictly because of the special artwork on the bottle. I looked it up on the company website and this bottle is part of their USO support campaign.
I didn't care for Sailor Jerry's rum, mixed with Coke, the last time I tried it. However, at the suggestion of a liquor store employee, I tried it mixed with ginger beer. Given how strong the flavor of the ginger beer is, it's hard to say how good this rum is on its own. However, I really enjoyed the cocktail. (traditionally, ginger beer and Goslings black is called a Dark & Stormy. Not sure what you'd call it with other rums such as this.)
Hopefully a Sailor Jerry's fan can offer a better review of this rum. Either way, I absolutely love this bottle! Very patriotic...
